Rafting Tara

Are you excited to spend one perfect day on the river, filled with fun, excitement and lots of sparkling rapids?

The Tara River seems to have restless, white, water steps with beautiful, peaceful pools between rapids that allow you to rest, take pictures of its unique landscapes, or try swimming in the crystal clear but cool water.

We will take a few breaks in the most beautiful places and the inevitable most beautiful waterfall on Tara. Do not forget that you can drink water from the river Tara throughout its flow, as it is officially proclaimed the cleanest water in the world.

This is a one-day rafting arrangement. Two rivers, Tara and Drina, and an unforgettable rafting day that you will long remember and retell.

Plan of the trip:

10.30am – You should arrive in our Rafting Centre, meet other rafters, and enjoy delicious breakfast of local specialties in the restaurant. We are perfectly located in a pleasant shadow of old, tall beech forest, on the banks of the River Piva where all sounds are overridden by gurgling waterfall and cheerful birds’ songs.
11.00am – Preparations for rafting start and every participant get full rafting equipment including neoprene suits and boots, life jackets, anoraks and helmets (appropriate for Go pro cameras). Each raft has a waterproof bag where you can store your cameras and mobile phones.
11.30am – Short driving with terrain vehicle to Brstanovica, starting point of rafting.
12.00-15.30pm – Your rafting trip begins with a shore side safety briefing and paddling practice led by your guide. Above each rapid, your guide will brief you on the run.
16.00pm – Your rafting trip ends on Scepan Polje with lunch in our restaurant.
